Job Duties and Responsibilities:Fabricate from raw materials and turns them into finished products by cutting, bending, welding, and shaping metals.
Read and interpret blueprints and shop sketches to determine product specifications and dimensions.
Fabricate using various power and hand tools, such as grinders, saws, and drills, to shape and cut metal pieces to fit specific designs.
Use specialized welding machines, such as MIG, TIG, and (Arc) stick welders, to join metal parts together into finished products.
Assemble jigs and fixtures to hold and support the workpiece during the fabrication process.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet industry quality standards and customer requirements.
Attend team meetings when required to provide status updates on project progress and work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

MACHINE REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. The responsibilities may include: Maintain and develop mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns. Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs. Inspecting equipment to identify possible problems that could lead to future breakdowns. Installing machinery and equipment, including piping and wiring, using hand tools and powder tools. Repairing or replacing damaged equipment such as motors, bearings and other moving parts. Collaborate and maintain a plant-wide preventative machine maintenance program. Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using cranes, hoists, chain falls, hand tools and jacks. Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements. Replace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in-line with production specifications. Application of lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts, as well as other equipment in accordance with stated procedures. PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR
In-depth understanding of the parts of a press brake and how the machine works. Computer skills to operate CNC software. Ability to remain upright and perform repetitive movements throughout most of a work shift. Arithmetic skills to perform measurements and calculate settings. Ability to move heavy or large pieces of sheet metal from one plate to another. Observation skills to monitor the pressing process and inspect metal after pressing. Knowledge of health and safety regulations for the manufacturing industry. Familiarity with blueprints and the terminology used in technical specification sheets.
